When we first
met little Silver in December of 2009 he was a "diamond in the
rough" under all that winter coat. He had recently been
purchased at an auction after his original owners lost their
home in a tornado and was for sale again. Even with all of the
changes in his life we were impressed with his gentle personality
and sweet attitude with children.
Silver was trustworthy enough to
be driven in a holiday parade by a seven year old former owner and appeared in
several newspapers. We knew when we first visited him that he was going to be a special part
of Gentle Carousel.
